Ingredients
1/2 cup
dark Soya sauce
1 tbsp
Active charcoal
1/3 cup
Fancy molasses
1/4 cup
aged Balsamic vinegar
1 cup
Red wine
1/4 cup
Olive oil
2 lb
Whole chicken wings
1 cup
crumbled Blue cheese
2 tbsp
Sour cream
3 tbsp
Hot sauce
Instructions
Special tools needed: A couple large cast iron pans, and a toy skull
Bat Wings
1. Toss all marinade ingredients into a large zip lock bag. Add wings and marinade for 1 to 24 hours. The longer the better.
2. Pre-heat oven to 425.
3. Place wings and marinade into two large pans. Bring up to soft simmer. Toss into oven and be sure to baste wings with liquid every 7 minutes. Bake for 25 minutes or until wings are done and perfectly glazed. If the liquid gets over reduced simply refresh with more red wine.
Blue Cheese Brains
1. Mix blue cheese with sour cream. Remove the top off a toy skull and wrap with scran and top up with blue cheese mixture. Refrigerate to firm up.
2. Replace back inside the skull, top with hot sauce and serve as a centrepiece for the wings.
