Ingredients

head Boston lettuce

pint cherry tomatoes

cups grilled chicken, sliced

cup blue cheese, crumbled

slices bacon, cooked

avocado, sliced
2 to 4
boiled eggs, peeled and cut in half
Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
½
cup mayonnaise
⅓
cup buttermilk, well-shaken before measuring

tbsp lemon juice

tsp dijon
1
very small garlic clove, grated or pureed
¼
cup chives or dill, snipped (or both)
Instructions
- Whisk the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Transfer to a mason jar and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
- To assemble the salad, arrange the lettuce on 4 shallow, wide bowls.
- Place all the toppings on a large platter with lots of serving spoons.
- Serve the dressing alongside in a small pitcher so everyone can assemble their own preferred combination.
