Heat and sweet tailgating BBQ ribs

Ingredients
2 racks
membrane film removed pork ribs
1 bottle
(your choice) beer
1 tspb
ground cumin
1 grated
orange peel
1 tbsp
brown sugar
3
grated garlic cloves
3 tbps
ketchup
1/2 cup
(garnish) crusted pistachios
Homemade Beer BBQ Sauce
1 1/2 cups
ketchup
3 tbsp
chilli powder
12 oz. (355 mL)
(your choice) beer
1 tsp
smoked paprika
1 tbsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
2 tbsp
packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tbps
molasses
2 tbsp
apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Heat & Sweet Tailgating Ribs
- Cut the 2 racks into halves giving you 4 pieces. Place into a dish
- Mix all the ingredients minus the pistachios in a medium sized mixing bowl.
- Pour marinade all over the ribs fully covering them. Cover with tin foil and place into refrigerator for minimum 12 hours.
- Remove the ribs from the refrigerator still
- In the meantime heat the BBQ to medium high heat allow to preheat
- Ensure ribs are well sauced and place on the BBQ
- Flipping the sides approx every 5 mins cook and continually brushing the ribs with left over sauce
- Cook the ribs for approx 30-40 minutes
- Remove from heat and let the ribs rest for 5 mins, sprinkle with crushed pistachios and serve
- Whisk all ingredients in a sauce pan and turn heat to medium, bringing sauce to a slow boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite BBQ.
- Keep in air tight container for 2-3 weeks
