Ultimate Pulled Pork Sambows

Ingredients

soft hamburger buns
1 x 5-7 lb
bone-in pork shoulder
2 cups
apple juice
1
beer
1
lime
3 tbsp
favourite rub
1 cup
bbq sauce

Slaw

1/2 head
julienne celeriac
5 stocks
julienne asparagus

julienne sugar snap peas

julienne radishes
1/2
julienne cucumber
1/2
julienne red pepper

julienne carrot
1 hand full
julienne mint
1 hand full
julienne basil
1 hand full
julienne parsley
1/2 cup
mayo
1/2 cup
yogurt
2
lime juice, and zest
2 tbsp
mustard

Instructions

  1. Pre heat your bbq to 225
  2. Rub the pork shoulder with spice rub and place in bbq fat side up
  3. Place apple juice, beer and lime juice into a spray bottle and spritz the pork every 1/2 hour. Smoke for 3 hours then turn
  4. Bring temperature up to 250 and smoke for another 6-8 hours
  5. Remove let rest for twenty minutes. Softly pull meat apart with hands and glaze with bbq sauce
  6. SLAW - Mix all ingredients into a lager bowl and toss softly. Please don't over mix. Season and let rest
  7. On a hamburger bun pile 5 oz of pulled pork top with summer slaw and serve. This will also work as a taco, on top of a burger or a dog
