INGREDIENTS
- 4 8oz pizza dough balls
- 12 oz tomato sauce
- 12 oz mozzarella shredded
- 12 oz bell peppers roasted
- 3 oz arugula
- TT olive oil
Kofta Beef
- 16 oz lean ground beef cooked
- 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- TT Italian parsley
- TT kofta spices
- TT salt
- TT pepper
METHOD
- Place beef, onion, garlic, parsley, kofta spices, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix vigorously for a few minutes to bring the meat together, place in the refrigerator for at least ½ hour to rest.
- Preheat a frying pan on lively fire, add a tbsp of olive oil then add the beef kofta and crumble until is cooked and all separate, set aside to cool.
- With flour at hand stretch each dough ball and top with tomato sauce, mozzarella, crumbled kofta and peppers, cook in a preheated 500f oven preferably on a pizza stone. Cook until the crust is golden.
- Remove from the oven and serve topped with fresh crisp arugula and a drizzle of olive oil.
