Dr. Joey’s detox salad

This detox salad is deliciously fresh and packed with nutrients, thanks to a mix of cabbage, kale, broccoli and avocados.

Ingredients

1 cup
red cabbage, finely sliced
1 cup
white cabbage, finely sliced
2 cups
kale, finely chopped
2
red peppers, diced
1 cup
carrots, sliced into matchsticks
2 cups
broccoli, chopped into small pieces
2
avocados, peeled and diced into small pieces
2 tbsp
sesame seeds
1/4 cup
dried cranberries

Dressing

3
lemons, juiced
3 tsp
olive oil
1 clove
garlic, clove
1/2 tsp
coconut sugar
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • To make dressing, place lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, sugar and salt in a bowl. Whisk together until combined and set aside.
  • In a large bowl combine all salad ingredients and toss well. Toss dressing with vegetables and mix well.
  • Top with sesame seeds, cranberries, and avocado pieces and enjoy!
