Nothing tastes better in the summer than enjoying a burger fresh off of the grill… but what if you could put it into a tortilla?
Chef Matt Dean Pettit shares a mouth-watering recipe for Cheeseburger Quesadillas that are delicious, cost-effective, and fun for the whole family to make and enjoy! Add all of your favourite toppings – ketchup, mustard, pickles, and most importantly, cheese – to your tortilla with some seasoned ground beef and you’re ready to eat! To bring this dish up a notch, Chef Matt explains in the video above how to make a homemade “Big Mac” sauce to dip your quesadillas into. Grab your tortillas and get cooking!
Ingredients
1 lb
cooked lean ground beef
1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp
chili seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 large
flour or corn tortillas
4 cups
shredded cheddar cheese
Mustard
Ketchup
Pickles
Instructions
- Using a large frying pan, brown the ground beef. Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes. Add the salt, pepper, chili seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce, mix well. Remove from heat and put into bowl until needed.
- Using the same frying pan, over medium heat add the tortilla and place on one half cheese, followed by ground beef. Add the mustard, ketchup and pickles, fold it over to seal.
- Cook each side for approximately 2-3 minutes or until crunchy, golden brown and cheese is melted.
