INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices country bread
- softened butter
- 2 tsp whole-grain mustard
- 2 oz Emmental cheese sliced
- 3 oz braised pork with dates drained and shredded
- 2 tbsp onion jam
METHOD
- Preheat a panini grill or a non-stick skillet.
- Spread one side of both bread slices with butter and the other side with mustard. On one slice, mustard side up, place half the cheese. Layer with the meat, onion jam and the remaining cheese. Top with the second slice of bread, mustard side down.
- Grill until the cheese has melted.
- Serve with a green salad or raw vegetables.
