INGREDIENTS
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup seasoned Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup parmesean cheese finely grated
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese drained
- 2 tsp salt
- 500 grams ground meat
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 pot tomato sauce
METHOD
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except for the meat.
- Add the meat and mix well. Using your hands, roll into balls about 3-4 inches round. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle the meatballs with extra-virgin olive oil.
- Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes. Flip the meatballs and bake for another 7 minutes.
- Simmer the cooked meatballs in your tomato sauce for 5-10 minutes. Or at this point, you can eat them as is or freeze them to use later.
