INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup Granulated white sugar
- 1 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 1/2 cup Lemon Juice
METHOD
With sugar:
- In a 1 litre measuring cup, combine sugar, 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of blueberries and ½ cup (125 mL) of water.
- Microwave on high until hot (for about 1 minute), stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add lemon juice and enough water to make 4 cups (1 L). Chill.
- Pour into thermal tall glasses with ice cubes, add chilled blueberry mixture and remaining berries, dividing equally.
- Garnish with lemon slices if desired. Pour extras in a thermos.
No added sugar version:
Sweeten with your favourite low calorie or no calorie sweetener—I use Stevia.
