Old fashioned bonfire cocktail

A tasty drink - inspired by a bonfire.

METHOD

Marshmallow Syrup

  1. Toast the marshmallows over an open flame and set aside.

Assembly

  1. Bring 1 cup water to a boil on the stove. Add 1 cup pure cane sugar and stir until dissolved.
  2. Add the toasted marshmallows and stir until dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh strainer.
  4. Add vanilla and let it cool.
