Although you can’t have certain drinks when you’re pregnant, it doesn’t mean you have to stick to boring beverages during those nine months. Chef Micah Trainor shows us how to make some amazing mocktails anyone can enjoy!
Ingredients

cup ginger beer
4
tbsp margarita mix
6
drops aromatic bitters
1
lime
1/4
cup kosher salt
1/4
cup sugar
2-4
slices cucumber peels
4
oz lyres Agave Spirit (0.5%), (Optional)
Mango Sunrise Mocktail
1/4
cup grenadine syrup
1
cup orange juice
1
cup frozen mango, pureed with water
2
maraschino cherries
Espresso Martini
6
oz decaf coffee
2
oz Irish cream creamer
1
tsp vanilla extract
4
tbsp chocolate flakes or shavings
2
tbsp cacao powder
3
oz Lyres Coffee Liqueur (0.5%)
Instructions
Mocktail #1 – Cucumber & Ginger Margarita Mocktail
Directions:
- Mix lime zest, sugar and salt in a small bowl and place on a plate or small bowl.
- Rim your rocks glass with a lime wedge and dip in the salt & sugar mixture. Wrap cucumber slices around the inside of the glasses and fill with ice.
- Add margarita mix, bitters and ginger beer. Stir gently.
- Garnish with a lime slice and serve.
- Pour grenadine along the sides of two glasses.
- Add ice, then orange juice, don’t stir.
- Pour frozen mango puree on top then garnish with a cherry.
- Place ice, coffee, vanilla & creamer in a cocktail shaker. Shake for 20 seconds.
- Strain into a martini glass or coup, and garnish with chocolate and whipped cream.
- In a small sieve, sprinkle cacao powder on top before serving.
