One of Brian Gluckstein’s favourite holiday drinks is a comforting cup of hot chocolate! Chef Massimo Capra shared a hot chocolate recipe with a decadent twist – it’s italian style! It’s so good it’ll have you saying – is this a drink or a full on dessert?

INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups milk
- 2 oz sugar
- 1 oz cornstarch
Irish Hot Chocolate
- 4 oz Hot Chocolate
- 1 oz Irish whiskey
- 1 tbsp Whipped cream
- Chocolate Graham crumb to rim
- wafer stick

METHOD
Makes 4/5 large cups:
- Mix the Cocoa, sugar, and the starch together in a bowl with a whisk.
- Pour the milk over it and mix well. Set the chocolate mix in a saucepan and place on a medium fire, stir constantly with a silicone spatula to prevent burning.
- Once the chocolate starts to simmer remove from heat and serve with your favourite topping.
