Homemade Limoncello

Nothing says summer like ice-cold lemonade - this time, try it with a tasty twist!

Ingredients

10
lemons, zested
3
cups white sugar
1 litre (or 750ml)
vodka
4
cups water

Blender Lemonade

cups water
2-4
tbsp sugar
4-5
ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Zest lemons, place in glass or bottle.
  2. Pour in vodka. 
  3. Cover loosely/let infuse for one week room temperature.
  4. After one week, combine sugar and water into a medium saucepan.
  5. Bring to temperature warm enough to melt the sugar.  
  6. Allow syrup to cool at room temperature.
  7. Stir Vodka mixture into syrup.
  8. Strain into glass bottles, seal each bottle with a cork.
  9. Let age for 2 weeks at room temperature.
  10. Store finished Limoncello in refrigerator.
Blender Lemonade
  1. Toss all ingredients together in a blender until super smooth and enjoy!
