Soy and sesame chicken

Claire Tansey grills the perfect chicken and gives it an Asian twist with this soy and sesame chicken!

Ingredients

2 tbsp
soy sauce
2 tbsp
white vermouth
2 slices
onion
1/2 tsp
sesame oil
4
boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. Combine marinade ingredients in a zip-lock bag or shallow dish. Add chicken and marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes or up to 24 hours in the fridge.
  2. Preheat barbecue to high. Spray grill very, very well with cooking spray. Remove chicken from marinade and place directly on the grill. Grill, lid closed, without moving the chicken around at all for 4 minutes. Flip and grill for another 4 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to absolute minimum and grill, lid closed, another 12 minutes for smaller chicken breasts, or another 15 minutes for larger ones. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
