Shaved roast beef tenderloin

Ingredients
1 pc (12 oz)
beef tenderloin, centre cut
1 clove
garlic, crushed or finely chopped
1 tbsp
salt kosher
1 tbsp
rosemary, finely chopped
1 tbsp
thyme, finely chopped
1 tbsp
canola oil, or vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Rub beef tenderloin generously with oil, salt, cracked pepper, crushed/finely chopped garlic, rosemary & thyme. Let sit for 30 minutes to one day.
2. Preheat BBQ or saute pan until very hot. Sear beef tenderloin.
3. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
4. Finish cooking the beef tenderloin to a medium rare in the 250 degree oven. This should only take 15-20 minutes.
5. Let rest for a good 30 minutes.
6. Shave thinly with a sharp knife.
