INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 side Salmon
- 1/4 cups Dark Canadian Maple Syrup
- 1 cup Water
- 1/4 cups Kosher Salt
- 3 tbsp. Canadian Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp. Dill chopped
- 1 tbsp. Parsley chopped
- 1 tbsp. Chive chopped
- 1 tsp. Peppercorn chopped
METHOD
Canadian Maple Brined Salmon
- Mix up brine ingredients and place in a bag with salmon.
- Refrigerate and turn every 15 minutes for one hour.
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Remove pat dry.
- Mix up glaze ingredients.
- Cover a baking tray with parchment paper and place down salmon.
- Smother with glaze and bake in the oven at 375 for 20-24 minutes or until the eternal temperature hits 148 degrees.
- Remove and let rest. This can be served hot, room temperature or cold.
