The fluffiest Trinidadian-style fried bake

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  1. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add enough water to make a soft dough.
  3. Knead for about 10 minutes, leave to rest for an hour.
  4. Cut in pieces and roll each piece to 6 inches in diameter and ¼ inch thick
  5. Fry in hot oil, turn once and fry until golden brown.
  6. Drain on a paper towel.
  7. Plate the dish!
