Broiled miso fish

Ingredients
2 tbsp
miso
1 tbsp
maple syrup
1 tbsp
mirin, or white wine
1 tbsp
canola oil
toasted sesame seeds, optional
chopped fresh dill, or chives
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with foil. Stir miso with maple syrup, mirin and canola. Place fish on prepared sheet and brush miso mixture over top and sides of fish. Let stand at room temperature 15 to 20 min.
- Preheat broiler and position oven rack no more than 8 inches away from broiler element. Broil fish 3 to 5 min or until miso is deeply golden and bubbling. Remove from oven and let stand 3 to 5 min (it will continue to cook). Sprinkle with sesame seeds and dill. Serve with rice and steamed greens if desired.
