An Italian favourite rolled up flank steak basted with tomato sauce.

Ingredients

beef cutlets, sliced 4oz each and flattened
1 ½ lb
Italian Sausage
12 slices
of prosciutto
2tbsp
Parsley, coarsely chopped
1tsp
Dry Oregano
1tsp
chopped Garlic
2 tbsp
bread crumbs, can be the seasoned or plain (no Panko)
¼ cup
Provolone, shredded
¼ cup
Pecorino, Grated
¼ cup
Parmigiano, Grated
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Dusting
flour

marinara sauce
Instructions
Mix the bread crumb with the cheeses, the herbs and the garlic.
Lay the beef on a board and sprinkle with the cheese and herb mixture evenly,
Add a slice of prosciutto and place a small roll of sausage in the middle, roll each slice up securing it with a tooth pick, dust each roll with flour and set aside.
Preheat a frying pan and add a little oil, fry the beef rolls on all sides until golden.
Pour the Marinara sauce into the crock pot and lay all the brasciole in it, lid on and press start.
