Lemon strawberry cream

Ingredients

225g
unsalted butter, melted
225g
brown sugar
175g
granulated sugar
1
room temperature egg
1 tbsp
vanilla extract
250g
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
sea salt
1 tsp
lemon zest
1/2 tsp
lemon extract
1/4 cup
freeze dried strawberries
4 tbsp
white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 F if convection oven, or 325 F is standard oven.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.
  3. In your mixer bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, lemon extract, lemon zest, and melted butter.
  4. Attach into mixer. Fit with the paddle attachment and mix until everything is thoroughly combined. Add the egg and continue to mix.
  5. Once the mixture is fully incorporated, start adding your flour mixture ¼ c at a time. Let it combine before adding the next ¼ c.
  6. Once all the flour has been added and dough is formed, add add freeze-dried berries and white chocolate chips. Chill dough and then roll into balls and bake.
