Chocolate chip ice cream sandwich with Halloween treats

This recipe will make great use of all of that Halloween candy!

Ingredients

1 cup
room temp butter
1 1/2 cups
white sugar
1/2 cup
brown sugar
2
large eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tbsp
hot water
3 cups
AP flour
1 1/2 coups
chocolate chips
1 pinch
salt
1 500ml tub
favourite ice cream
2 cups
left over Halloween candy, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cream butter with sugar, add eggs one at a time with vanilla. Blend baking soda with hot water and add.
  3. Slowly incorporate flour with salt and chocolate.
  4. Place 2oz balls on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden remove and let cool.
  5. Slice through the tub in 1 inch sections.
  6. Place between two cookies.
  7. Roll the cookies through candy mixture and dive in!
