Blackberry & Blueberry Pie Bars

Ingredients

½ cup
unsalted butter
¾ cup
sugar
1 ½ cups
all-purpose flour
1/3 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/3 tsp
nutmeg
½ tsp
kosher salt

Filling

½ cup
full fat sour cream
1/3 cup
sugar
1 tbsp
lemon juice
1 tbsp
lime juice
4 tsp
cornstarch
2 tsp
vanilla extract
½ tsp
ground cinnamon
1 cup
blueberries
1 cup
of halved blackberries

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F. Line baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Combine ingredients for the crust thoroughly in a mixing bowl and line baking tray evenly, reserving a half cup of crust
  3. Combine all ingredients for filling, reserving some berries to add on top, and pour over crust
  4. Shake the pan to disperse batter appropriately
  5. Add berries and clumps of crust over the top and bake for one hour
  6. Refrigerate before serving and slice into desired shapes or 9 rectangles
