Peach, lemon & basil jam (modern method)

Add the sugar and dice the peaches to make this modern and delicious jam in your very own home.

Ingredients

8 cups
diced peaches
3 cups
sugar
6 tbsp.
powdered pectin
6 tbsp.
lemon juice
1 cup
julienne lemon zest
1 cup
basil leaves
1 whole
seeded and chopped red chili

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients, place in food saver bag and seal using a food saver. Place the sealed bag in a pot of boiling water and simmer for 2 hours. Then remove from the water and shock in ice water. Allow to chill in the fridge for a additional 2 hours and then serve. Can be stored in the freezer for later use.
