A salad never goes out of style. One solid base recipe is all it takes to whip not just one, but two easy healthy summer coleslaw recipes. A base recipe is all you need as a start to making a traditional Apple Cabbage Slaw or a Tangy Carrot and Cucumber Slaw.
Traditional Apple Cabbage Slaw
Tor the traditional slaw you toss 4 cups of shredded vegetables or fruit together to begin. Then you incorporate some green onion, dill, parsley, or cilantro.
Tangy Carrot and Cucumber Slaw
For the tangy slaw you cut up some carrots and cucumber to begin. From there you also roughly chop up dill to add to the main salad.
With both methods, you toss your add-ins of choice to the base salad and you’re ready to eat!
