INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb brussels sprouts
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 10 skewers
Orange Miso Vinaigrette
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1 tbsp miso
- ½ tsp orange zest
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger
- ½ tsp garlic
- 1 tsp honey
- ¼ cup grapeseed oil
- salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Trim stem off brussels sprouts and remove any undesirable leaves.
- Blanch for 3 minutes then remove to ice water bath.
- Once cooking stops drain and dry with a kitchen towel.
- Toss sprouts with oil, salt, pepper and skewer. Grill until golden brown all around.
