INGREDIENTS
- 1lb 16-20 shrimp peeled deveined
- 1/2 cup butter milk
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- TT kosher salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp chives chopped
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 cup olive oil
Sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
METHOD
- Mix all the sauce ingredients together and set aside
- Bring olive oil a large nonstick pan up to 350F.
Batter
- Mix buttermilk, flour, cornstarch and egg together to make a batter.
- Season Panko with salt and pepper
- Working in smaller sets dredge shrimp through the batter then press into bread crumbs.
- Fry for a few minutes per side or until golden and cooked throughout.
- Remove let drain and coat with Sweet Spicy Chili sauce.
- Garnish with chives and sesame seeds.
