Visiting Edmonton for the Edmonton Women's Show

Last weekend I had the opportunity to talk at the Edmonton Women’s Show. It was a quick turnaround, but the love was palpable.

It’s my second visit to Edmonton, Alberta in as many years, and you know what…the place just gets more fun each visit.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to talk at the Edmonton Women’s Show. It was a quick turnaround, but the love was palpable.

I started my trip by visiting one of my closest gals who happens to live in YEG – Arisa Cox, co-host of 91.7 The Bounce morning show. We caught up and partied at the newly opened Cactus Club on Jasper. If you haven’t been yet…GO! The friendliest people you’ll meet at a bar and incredible food (oh, Alberta steak…where have you been all my life?!).

And then the big event: On Sunday I spent the afternoon with exclusive City contest winners, and hundreds of warm, funny, loving women. Some of Edmonton’s finest I would estimate.

Thank you for the love Edmonton! It’s your warm spirit that keeps me coming back.

And to the organizers of the Edmonton Woman’s Show (Augusta, Louise, emcees Jaclyn and Kat and the Citytv street team): you are one in a million. Hope to see all of you again soon.
