Give your patio or backyard style a Balinese twist with this beautiful decorative table.

Materials:
-1 sheet of 3/4″ exterior grade spruce (cut to desired size of table top)
-1 pressure treated fence post
-4 fence caps
-8 stainless steel L brackets
-exterior grade screws
-saw
-carpenters glue
-wood filler / putty knife
-Benjamin Moore’s Fresh Start primer
-1 quart of Benjamin Moore’s “Onyx” 2133-10 in Aura exterior, low lustre finish
-1 quart of Benjamin Moore’s “White Sand” OC-10 in Aura exterior, low lustre finish
-Cutting Edge Stencils “Indian Inlay Kit by Kim Myles”
-low tack spray adhesive
-pounce sponge
-high density foam roller
-chalk
-sand paper

How To:
-Cut the fence post into 4 equal lengths of your choice which will become the table legs.
-Attach fence caps to the bottom of the post with wood glue and exterior screws.
-Attach the table legs to the spruce table top (cut to size) using L brackets.
-Fill any screw holes with wood filler and lightly sand.
-Prime ALL surfaces of the table (including the underside of the table feet to seal wood finish and protect against moisture).
-Once primer is dry, apply 2 coats of “Onyx” on all surfaces.
-Locate the centre of the table top by chalking a straight line, opposite corner to corner.
-Apply a light coat of low tack spray adhesive to the backs of each stencil from the kit.
-Place the first stencil in the centre of the table and lightly pounce a coat of “White Sand” with a pounce sponge.
-Immediately remove the stencil and allow to dry to the touch.
-Continue to alternate different stencil patterns around centre stencil until entire surface is complete.
-Allow to dry thoroughly before exterior use and enjoy!
