Materials needed:
-Ikea Egeby rug (or a sisal rug)
-painters tape
-primer
-paint (background colour and stencil colour)
-roller
-stencil
-stencil brushes
-clear coat
How to do it yourself:
1) Tape the trim of the rug.
2) Prime and base coat the rug.
3) Tape the first stencil in place. Measure carefully before painting!
4) Use the stencil brush to paint the stencil by dipping the brush in the paint, dabbing off any access paint.
5) Dabbing paint on stencil, pushing firmly.
6) Continue across the entire rug, making sure to line your stencil up carefully each time.
7) Cover the rug with a protective coat of varnish (Optional).
