Both of these easy and delicious dishes feature only three ingredients (excepting the oil, salt and pepper)!
Golden Glazed Halibut
4-200g halibut fillets, about 3/4 in. thick
3 tbsp white miso paste
4 tsp honey
1 tsp olive oil
Position rack in upper third of oven. Preheat broiler. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Pat fish dry and lay on parchment.
Stir miso with honey and oil in a small bowl. Generously spread over fish.
Broil until the tip of a knife inserted in the thickest part of the fish and held for 10 sec feels warm, about 10 min.
SERVES 4 | PER SERVING 275 calories, 43 g protein, 9 g carbs, 7 g fat, 1 g fibre, 589 mg sodium. Excellent source of vitamin B6.
Fiery Snow Peas
1 tsp vegetable oil
400 g snow peas, trimmed, about 7 cups
2 tsp minced fresh ginger
1 tsp minced red chili peppers
1/2 tsp salt
Heat a medium frying pan over medium-high. Add oil, then snow peas. Cook, stirring often, until bright green and almost tender-crisp, about 2 min. Add ginger, peppers and salt. Cook about 2 more min.
