Deviled eggs are always a popular app, and Jillian Harris even shows us how to give them a fun pumpkin look.
Pumpkin-inspired deviled eggs
Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Dash of pepper
- Paprika for garnish
- Green onion for garnish
Method:
Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and add about 3 inches of water. Bring to a boil then cover, remove from heat, and let stand 15 minutes.
Drain immediately and fill the saucepan with cold water and ice.
Tap each egg firmly on the counter until cracks form all over the shell then peel under cold running water.
Slice eggs in half lengthwise, and carefully remove yolks.
Mash yolks with mayonnaise in another bowl. Add relish, mustard, salt and pepper, and stir well.
Spoon yolk mixture into egg whites. Feel free to garnish with paprika and green onions.
