Yonge-Dundas Square will be an all-day hub of hockey action on Wednesday when the puck drops on the 2014-15 NHL season.
Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off offers fans a full day of entertainment complete with a Tragically Hip concert, appearances by NHL legends, and a live broadcast of an Original Six clash between the rival Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs.

“The 2014 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off is a great way for the NHL and our partners to be a part of this excitement, celebrating with our fans in the heart of Toronto and all over the world,” said Brian Jennings, NHL executive vice-president & chief marketing officer.
The celebration begins at noon, rain or shine.

- 2:30 p.m. – Q&A with Joe Nieuwendyk
- 3:15 p.m. – Photo Session with Darryl Sittler
- 3:30 p.m. – Q&A Session with Wendel Clark
- 4:15 p.m. – Photo Session with Wendel Clark
- 4:30 p.m. – Photo Session with Darryl Sittler
- 5:00 p.m. – Q&A with Clark, Nieuwendyk and Sittler
- 6:30 -7:15 p.m. – The Tragically Hip live performance
- 7:15 p.m. – Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre – Live broadcast carried on all video screens at Yonge-Dundas Square

Yonge Street will be closed from Dundas to Queen streets from 10 a.m. on Tuesday to 4 a.m. on Thursday. The TTC’s Yonge buses will divert via Victoria Street.
