Look, it’s nude! Make-up artist Dino Dilio shows us ways to wear the nude lip trend that’s oh-so-hot for fall.
Finding the right colour that matches your skin tone will help bring out that nude effect. And don’t forget to keep those kissers hydrated!
Here are a few tips to picking out the right shade:
- Beige pink with golden undertones for fair-skinned blondes.
- Beige peach with gold looks wonderful on strawberry-blondes and redheads.
- Medium skin tones with gold and olive undertones suit soft creamy roses and plums.
- Rich, deeper skin tones carry either warm caramel to chocolate, or cooler wine to aubergine tones.
Picking a colour that’s too light is pale, not nude. Having a nude colour is also an alternative for the bold colours of the season. And remember: pay no attention to the name of the lipstick — it usually has nothing to do with the shade!
