INGREDIENTS
- 225 g unsalted butter softened
- 5-6 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp milk
- pinch of salt
METHOD
- In a bowl, whip up softened butter until it’s pale, light, and fluffy.
- Add icing sugar 1-2 cups at a time. Whip in between to ensure icing sugar mixes into the butter.
- Once all the sugar has been added, whip to form buttercream. It will be thick.
- Add pinch of salt, milk, and vanilla. Whip buttercream on high. It will loosen up and become nice and fluffy.
