1. LEGO Ornaments
My house can’t get too many trees, so this was a great excuse to build another one. I used the free app, Pinterest, to get some great ideas. Lego ignites creativity, curious observation and critical thinking. The possibilities are endless!

Shockingly it’s in a lot of food products so what a great way to create a conversation around why it’s used, what it’s in and how it’s created. Again, using Pinterest you can find hundreds of at-home science experiments to keep the kids busy and off the screens during the holidays.
