Asparagus with sliced almonds and parmigiana cheese

This quick and easy asparagus dish serves as a great last minute side!

METHOD

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the asparagus, and cook, stirring, about 3-5 minutes or until tender.  Add grated parmigiana and cook until the cheese is melted.
  2. Meanwhile, in a separate skillet heated to medium-high heat, toast almonds until lightly browned and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the toasted almonds over the asparagus and serve immediately.
