Especially in the wintertime – making large quantities of soups and stews is one way to make sure there is no waste and that you have a healthy meal right when you need it. One of my favourite things to make in a batch is my healthy vegetarian chili recipe.
Tip #2: Do not be shy to buy frozen fruits or vegetables
Flash-frozen fruits and vegetables still offer a nutritional punch – frozen fruits and vegetables are a sure way to ensure there is no waste and that there is highly nutritious food always handy.
