Grab any old canvas that you’re no longer in love with and paint right over it!

Here’s what you need:

• Second-hand canvas
• White acrylic paint/primer
• Acrylic paint
• Painter’s tape
• Roller
• Small paintbrushes

No need for any artistic skills because there is no right or wrong way to create abstract art.  It’s all about personal taste, customizing the art in your space and having some fun while creating it!

Prep: Wipe the old artwork clean. Make sure it is clear of dust and other particles.

STEP 1: Cover the old artwork with white paint or primer.  Allow it to dry.

STEP 2: Use a pencil to draft your design. Have a reference image/ inspiration for your themed art piece.  Or, If you’re feeling adventurous drizzle the paint while gently waving your hands over the canvas for an abstract design.
