The Hypnotist
“For all the crime buffs I have a character for you, Joona Linna. This is the first of a six book series and the best description I could find for the genre was “Nordic Noir”. If you prefer your beach reads suspenseful and dark, you’ll love this series. The first book revolves around the murder of a family where two children survive. One child is witness and the other is missing. That’s all I’m saying because I’m notorious for blurting out (or typing out) spoilers.”

Do This For Me
“Do This for Me is a fast-paced divorce revenge tale that will pair perfectly with a crisp Riesling on a beach lounger. You will fall in love, and then fall out of love and then back in love with Raney – a driven, go-getter who is woefully confused about who she is and what she needs in life. You’ll enjoy how far she can go when she commits to a really bad plan.”
-Tracy Moore, Host
Available on Amazon for $11.60

The Unhoneymooners
“I devoured this book in one weekend. It’s a perfect beach read about two enemies who are forced to go on their siblings’ honeymoon in Hawaii. Proximity, a gorgeous locale, rum-filled cocktails and witty banter make for romance. You’ll fall in love with Ethan, I promise.”
-Sandy Chronopoulos, Supervising Producer
Available on Amazon for $12.80

The Nest
“There are so many twists and turns with this story about a highly dysfunctional, barely functioning family. If you are looking for a book that keeps you on your toes, while sipping a beverage in the sun.. this is it!”
-Shannon Loftus, Segment Producer

Just Mercy
“I heavily lean non-fiction, and this book is all the reasons why. A look at the true potential for mercy and redemption, and a call to fix a broken legal system. Not an easy-breezy beach read, but Stevenson makes you want to do better, BE better…..Something I think is perfect any time of the year.”
– JC Chessell, Production Floater
Available on Amazon for $21.00

Daisy Jones And The Six
“Sex, drugs and Rock & Roll. This is the story of the rise and fall of the band and Daisy Jones and the Six. I enjoyed the interview style of this book. I really felt as if I was reading a Rolling Stones article and Daisy and the Six were a real band.”
– Carolyn Graham, Director / Wellness Wednesday Producer
Available on Amazon for $17.11

Calypso
“Calypso by David Sedaris will have you in stitches within the first two or three pages. Besides being wickedly funny (plane diarrhea) , it’s also tragically sad (his sister’s suicide). It’s a series of observations and anecdotes about family, aging, shopping – you name it – but written in the most clever, insightful way. A perfect summer read.”
-Anita M., Segment Producer
