Myth buster #1
Timing has nothing to do with weight loss – true or false?
False! Time-restricted eating or “intermittent fasting” is important with dieting. Strong research shows that as you get older, over 40 years old, fasting for 12 to 13 hours will help you lose weight. You will wake up with better digestion and your energy would have increased. Time-restricted eating is not hard if you are eating healthy.

Myth buster #3
The rate of your metabolism is fixed and cannot be changed.
False! We all have a metabolism speed, some slow, and some fast. Think of your metabolism like an engine in a car. When given the proper fuel and care (specific foods, exercise, stress relief, water, rest etc.) the car/metabolic capacity can run more efficiently and smoothly. Maximizing your metabolic capacity will always enhance your weight loss results.
Myth buster #4
If I have “yo-yo” dieted for years, I have messed up my metabolism for life –true or false.
False. Stop yo-yo dieting because it can make it harder for you to lose weight. If you are still struggling with your weight at an older age , stop yo-yo dieting and say you can still do it. You can always turn the volume up with you metabolism, any age, any stage. So there is always hope.
