Warm up with this Japanese-inspired miso soup—the grated ginger adds a pungent kick.
Miso soup
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 tbsp miso paste
1 cup boiling water
Optional:
Cubed soft tofu
Sliced green onions
Enoki or sliced shiitake mushrooms
Grated ginger
Cooked ramen or soba
Sliced nori or any dried seaweed
Method:
1. Combine miso paste and boiling water in a bowl. Stir.
2. Add in optional toppings, and enjoy.
