This special treat is best enjoyed while still warm, so we won’t judge you if they disappear within minutes of coming out of the fryer.
Nutella-stuffed cinnamon donut holes
Makes 20-30 donuts
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cinnamon
- 1 cup Nutella, warmed
- 6 cups vegetable oil
Method:
Push out pizza dough to 1/2-inch on a counter or baking tray. Let proof for 30 minutes.
In a deep fryer or large pot, bring vegetable oil up to 350F.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in large bowl.
Punch out pizza dough with 1-inch ring mold and carefully place into hot oil. Fry for 1 minute on each side and remove.
Toss in sugar mixture and let rest.
Add warm Nutella into piping bag and gently fill your sugar-coated donut hole.
