And now, let’s take a look at some of our fave posts from last week’s challenge to tell us about your worst online dating tales! This week we received replies from our viewers on Facebook, and a few emails from ladies who wanted to be a bit more anonymous!

• Ann-Marie Dunford said: Plenty of Fish…had a few dates and both guys passed me the cheque. Both had a time limit of one hour because they lined up several dates for the evening! Both told me I was too old for them! What a joke! Both were much older than me! My age was clearly stated! From those bad experiences I refuse to ever online date again! And the cyber bullying I got was horrific! Some guys join dating sites to abuse women! With fake names of course because they are cowards! Meeting people face to face is the best way to go!
• Carol Burgess said: Ugh. He said he was 28, like me. When he showed up he was 48.

We also received several stories via email — read some of our faves:

• From Tara: Most memorable bad date has to be the time we went to a two-hours-plus movie (his choice). At one point, I uncrossed my legs and shifted in my seat, as one foot was falling asleep. He leaned over and said “Sit still,” as though I was an unruly child. Let’s just say that was the last date with that particular individual!
• From Katie: Went on a first date with a guy, it was going ok but not spectacularly. I considered asking for the bill after the first round of drinks, but he pressed for another round, and then dinner. I thought, ok, I should give this a chance. Midway through dinner, he mentioned that he was a handful of dates in with another woman that he really liked, but he liked me ‘enough’ that if the other fell through, maybe we could go out again. Ha! Doesn’t every gal want to be the ‘back-up plan’? Lesson learned: go with your gut!
• From Ella: We met at Tim Hortons on our first date (his idea). I’m not dissing our national treasure, but it was a bit of a bland choice. When we got there, he told me that he wanted a double-double and a chocolate dip donut, and could I order for him while he saved us a table…even though the restaurant was less than half-full. And, of course, he never offered to pay me back for his order. Not a good first impression!
