DIY magnetic makeup board
Materials & tools:
- Glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Metal sheet (we used 12″x18″)
- Fabric of choice
- Duct tape
- Magnets
- Frame
- Ruler
- Pencil
Method:
Visit your local big box store for a metal sheet and frame, size of your choice. Make sure that the metal sheet fits nicely under the frame. You can buy the frame in a color that you prefer or you can paint it yourself. Visit your local craft store for a fabric of your choice.
Measure the fabric around the metal sheet. Once you have the fabric cut to size, take your glue gun and glue the fabric around the sheet. Make sure that each corner is tightly pulled around the metal.
Use duct tape to secure the frame to the metal sheet, which now has fabric on it.
Place the makeup on the frame to arrange it to your preference. Then take the magnets, and using the glue gun, glue the magnets to the backs of the makeup. You can always move your magnetic makeup around as much as you like.
Additionally, you can visit your local dollar store and buy a magnetic pencil holder (to use as a brush holder) and magnetic mirror to finish your look.
