Chatelaine health editor Laurie Jennings sets out to declutter our diets with a few easy suggestions.
First, you don’t need a kitchen full of gadgets, just a few workhouses that will help you make healthy smoothies, juices, and soups. A good blender, a spice grinder for pulverizing spices and seeds, and perhaps a juicer so that you can transform antioxidant rich fruits and veggies into nutrient-rich juices to start your day with.
Next, focus on whole foods: fruit, vegetables, seeds, and whole grains. Ditch overly processed foods with unpronounceable ingredients, and don’t even think about picking up that loaf of white bread!
