Materials & Tools:

– Masonite board

– Styrofoam / Foam Core

– Board

– Fabric

– Quilt Batting

– Art / Light Weight Objects

– Craft Glue & Glass Glue

– Acrylic Tray

– Stapler

– White Paint & Brush

– Hand saw

Instructions:

1. Trace outline of tray on masonite

2. Cut masonite board to shape of tray using hand saw

3. Paint edges of masonite board white

4. Cut Styrofoam or foam core board ½ inch smaller than masonite boards (1/2” less in width and

½” less in length)

5. Wrap foam board with batting and fabric and staple fabric in place on back side

6. Glue wrapped foam board to masonite board – centered – leaving ¼” of masonite board

exposed all around wrapped board

7. Glue or pin art onto wrapped foam board

8. Run a bead of Glass Glue along exposed edge of masonite board

9. Place acrylic tray over art board and apply light pressure and hold in place while glue hardens

Approximate Cost – $20-$40 pending size and art used
