Planked Chermoula Rubbed Salmon
This salmon recipe is absolutely succulent on the grill – great for a party this summer!
Planked Chermoula Rubbed Salmon
Ingredients:

8 oz salmon fillet (8 portions)
½ cup lemon juice (fresh)
¼ cup olive oil
1/3 cup cilantro (freshly chopped)
3 Tbsp smoked paprika

½ tsp cumin
½ Tbsp cayenne pepper
3 cloves garlic (minced)
kosher salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste

Method:
Soak maple planks for 2 hours.
Fire up the grill to medium high temperature. Indirect heat will be used to grill the salmon fillets.
In a medium bowl combine lemon juice, olive oil, cilantro, smoked paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic, salt and pepper.
Pour marinate over salmon and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Place maple planks on the grill until the planks become dry and start to crackle.
Using indirect heat place salmon fillets on plank, close the lid, for medium rare allow 10 to 15 minutes.
