Tip #1: Correct Blush Application

One of the most common mistakes people make when they’re applying blush is that they use the wrong size of brush, ie. something the size of your loose powder brush.

Wrong!

"You want to use a smaller brush for your cheeks," Tracy P. notes. "What (using a bigger brush) does is it deposits too much colour onto the cheeks. You’d carry the colour way too far and it’ll close down the cheek area and make your face look too small."

It’s always best to build colour, as opposed to having to take it off because you’ve over-applied.

Tap the excess from your brush before you apply, and work the brush in a circular motion from the apple of the cheek back toward the hairline.
