Hot glue gun
CARDBOARD THEATRE
1. Tape bottom of box closed.
2. Fold down the front opening flap that is typically built into the wardrobe box. This will determine the platform that will become the “stage”.
3. Take the top left and right side flaps and bring them together to form a pitched roof. Hot glue together.
4. Bring the back flap up to meet the roof line. Cut to fit and hot glue it at the meeting points.
5. Cut a rectangular opening in the back of the box to look through. This opening will provide a view of the stage from behind
6. Cut a rectangular piece of black fabric to cover the opening and hot glue it to the opening.
7. Cut another rectangular opening just below the viewing box to allow for your arms to go through.
DECORATING
1. Cut decorative elements such as columns and gables and hot glue them to the façade of the theatre.
2. Drape fabric around the body of the box and hot glue in place.
